I like winter… a lot. Perhaps this is because I grew up in Minnesota where winter lasts seven months and is the only time one doesn’t need to fear attacks from our state bird: the mosquito. But in all seriousness, winter was a fact of life and in my home we learned to love it.
As an adult, I left the career world to pursue outdoor adventures. This includes seven winters in Alta, Utah; one in Queenstown, New Zealand; and now I’m exploring Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
This page will contain posts sharing what I’ve learned about a skiers life.
